Hans Toebes (Groningen, 1961) Studied General Musical Education/Schoolmusic and conducting at the Muziek Pedagogische Academie, later Conservatorium Leeuwarden from 1980 to 1987. From 1986 he is working at several schools as a music and arts teacher. He is still working as a teacher at the Dollard College in the north of Holland. He also has conducted many Orchestras, like Brassbands, Dutch Fanfares and Concert/Windbands. At the moment Hans is conductor of two Fanfares.

As a composer Hans Toebes is self-taught. He specializes in composing for Brassband, Fanfareband and Concert/Windband.

Hans Toebes (Groningen, 1961) studeerde Algemene Muzikale Vorming (AMV) en Directie HaFaBra aan de Muziek Pedagogische Academie (MPA)/Conservatorium Leeuwarden van 1980 tot 1987. Vanaf 1986 werkt hij als docent Muziek en CKV op verschillende scholen. Op dit moment werkt hij op het Dollard College in het noorden van het land. Als dirigent heeft hij al vele orkesten, zoals Brassbands, Fanfares en Harmonieën gedirigeerd. Heden ten dage is Hans dirigent bij twee Fanfareorkesten.

Als componist is Hans Toebes autodidact. Hij is gespecialiseerd in het componeren voor Brassband, Fanfare en Harmonie.
