Double takes for 2 singers and ensemble. Lyrics and music by Frank Nuyts
Double takes is commissioned by Laurence Servaes
The lyrics are inspired by photographs by Ronny Lauwers.
Double takes is scored for soprano, mezzo soprano, recorders (one player): bass, tenor, alto, soprano and sopranino recorder, violoncello, marimba (A2-C7)
piano and/or keyboard (eg Korg Krome)
(Bank A: 056 E.Piano Mark V (slow synth sound: (Bank D: 057 Prayer Pad) attack (cut off) 4”, release at least 6”) (note: if grand piano is available, only use the keyboard for the drone sections)
