Tom Schipper (1994) is an award-winning composer of music for film and live performance. He studied classical composition at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where his main teachers were Willem Jeths and Wim Henderickx. During his studies, he wrote works for a variety of ensembles, such as symphony orchestra, wind orchestra, fanfare orchestra, percussion ensemble, choir and different other ensembles of a smaller size. Several of his works have been crowned with awards, such as the "Slide factory composition contest" and the "TROMP Percussion composition competition". 

After graduating in 2016, Tom continued his studies with a Master in Composition for Film in Amsterdam with Jurre Haanstra. The core of the curriculum is an intense collaboration with students of the Netherlands Film Academy. In his final year, Tom wrote music for 4 different short films, one of which was recorded with a symphony orchestra. This score for the animated film "The Library of Things" was awarded the first-ever "Keep an Eye film score award" for the best music of his graduation year.

Tom Schipper (1994) is een bekroonde componist van muziek voor film en live optredens. Hij studeerde klassieke compositie aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam, waar zijn belangrijkste docenten Willem Jeths en Wim Henderickx waren. Tijdens zijn studie schreef hij werken voor symfonieorkest, blaasorkest, fanfare-orkest, slagwerkensemble, koor en verschillende andere kleinere ensembles. Verschillende van zijn werken zijn bekroond met prijzen, zoals de "Slide factory Composition Contest" en de "TROMP Percussion Composition Competition".

Na zijn afstuderen in 2016 vervolgde Tom zijn studie met een Master in Compositie voor Film in Amsterdam bij Jurre Haanstra. De kern van het curriculum is een intense samenwerking met studenten van de Nederlandse Filmacademie. In zijn laatste jaar schreef Tom muziek voor 4 verschillende korte films, waarvan er een werd opgenomen met een symfonieorkest. Deze score voor de animatiefilm "The Library of Things" werd bekroond met de allereerste "Keep an Eye film score award" voor de beste muziek van zijn afstudeerjaar.
