I composed Avant voyage (2011) as an overture for my composition concert that been held in November 2011 at the Helsinki Music Centre.
The idea of the piece is that it never actually starts moving; the piece tries to start over and over again, but it always stops for some reason, and finally, it get stuck for some kind of noisy condition until it cut off.
