Notes for the violoncellist
Written material of this work consist nine fragments (from A to I) that should be played in any order, choosen by the performer.
All fragments should be played during the electro-acoustic back track, which last six minutes. Performer can choose the tempo for every fragment and also lenght of the pauses between them keeping in mind that there
is overall time limit for the written parts.
The order of the fragments can be changed for every performance. All performance techniques are explained in the score.
There are no written parts for the additional percussion player, which means it has to be improvised keeping in mind that the cello part is more prominent.
Preferable instruments for the percussionists are light, rather small instruments: a hand drum, smaller size of cymbals (mounted/hand cymbals), a spring drum, shakers, flex-a-tone etc. Player may use different kind of sticks, mallets, metal springs etc implements of her/his choise.
