Ballet in one act for symphonic wind orchestra
In 2019, Ed de Boer chanced upon a book entitled Märchen von Musik und Tanz (Fairy Tales about Music and Dance). He purchased it out of curiosity and thus found the Japanese fairy tale Das Glöckchen (The Little Bell). He immediately felt attracted to it and by the idea to turn it into a ballet. This ballet is a unique composition for symphonic wind orchestra and gives opportunities for creative performances with all kind of dance.
It has been performed at the World Music Contest Kerkrade 2022 by Symphonic band band St. Jan Wierden conducted by Egbert van Groningen on a choreagrophy from Nada Belada with dancers from Artez and artschool Kaliber.
