A 5-part work based on the Zeeland national anthem for fanfare band
A work composed as a gift to fanfare band Luctor et Emergo Zoutelande. The work consists of 5 parts and is entirely based on the Zeeland national anthem.
The piece discusses the various phrases of the national anthem as well as its lyrics. In this way it paints a picture of the dikes and dunes, the storms, the sun, the Zeeland heroes of the past and the people. Part 5 is the finale, in which the entire theme comes back again and builds up to the climax.
A programmatic piece of fanfare music, especially for the Zeeland orchestras a must play!
