Sakura, Cherry Blossom, is a beautiful Japanese tree known for its beautiful pink blossom. This tree blooms in the spring and looks beautiful with its pink blossom.
This tree inspired Hans Toebes to write this composition. He took the Japanese folk song Sakura as his starting point. At the beginning of this composition you hear the sweet character of the folk song and also the character of the tree. Then you get a mysterious 4-bar transition into a completely different character. In the long time that the tree exist, it has already been through a lot.
