Upcomming work
After finishing Fort Galleon I have been working really hard on my new composition for Symphonic orchestra based on my biggest inspiration source: the ocean.
In this upcomming musical piece called Jewels of the Deep I take the listener to the depths of the ocean where a sunken legendary treasure lays. In this fantasy story I tell the storyline of treasure hunters who go looking for this treasure. The story takes place in the fantasy ocean the Muradio ocean. During these months i participated during the Amadeus Composition contest with Fort Galleon. My concert work was voted 86 poins with an secondplace by the judges:Prof. Periklis Liakakis – University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Prof. Beth Denisch – Berklee College of Music, Prof. Brian Buch – Berklee College of Music and Prof. Roumen Dimitrov – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. I hope to finish Jewels of the Deep mid 2024
Story of the composition.
In the year 1854, the ship the HMS Island had orders to set sail from Spain towards the Lacro Islands. The trip towards the Lacro Islands would take at least two whole weeks. It is a dangerous route to the Islands. Pirates are everywhere to plunder every vessel they see. This 28 gun ship with more 200 souls on board had orders to transport a great treasure mend for the king of the Lacro islands. As the HMS Island reached the Gulf of Valkrio, the ship is pursued by a group of vicious pirates from the La Cursio Islands. The HMS Island tries to lose the pirates by heading towards the Muradio Ocean. But the pirate ship is faster and catches up with the HMS Island. A great gun battle takes place and the Island is taking heavy damage. The crew of the Island tries to give everything they have to defend themselves but the pirates shoot down their main mast which causes the ship to sink to the bottom of the ocean, the treasure still on board. In the year 2013, a group of treasure hunters have learned the location of the sunken treasure and are setting sail with their ship the HMS Falcon to see if the legend is true.
