Clarinet Quartet
The Hawk Street (Havikstraat) in Utrecht was the street where I spent my early childhood. The five parts of this first clarinet quartet are musical memories of this street and of the neighborhood in which the street used to be.
The work was premiered in 1990 by the clarinet quartet 'En Garde' of the Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy.
