The medieval castle Alhambra in Granada (Spain) combines influences form the Arabic culture and from Spain. Exactly these elements we can hear in the compositon of Werner Janssen: Flamenco, Arabic music and an exciting rhtym, in a 9/8 and 10/8 measure. A must for a classical oriented orchestra that has a warm heart for popular music styles. Both players and audience will love this piece!
