Pasodoble for fanfare orchestra, written for concert performances
This pasodoble was originally composed for concert band in 2014.
The world premiere was played by the Westlandse Harmonie in 's-Gravenzande, conducted by Frank Hendriks.
The composition depicts the proud and independent character of the elements-hardened population of this ancient Spanish region.
In addition, the beautiful and inaccessible mountain landscapes in the north of this former medieval kingdom are also an important source of inspiration for this work.
